3rd IEEE International Conference on Electronic Engineering (ICEEM-2023)

The conference accepts the following:

Invited papers: Invited papers are solicited from leading international and national experts in the listed topics.

Regular Papers: Prospective authors are invited to submit their papers with maximum 6-page following the conference template. The submitted papers must be unpublished and not being currently under review for any other publication.

Posters: Participation of prospective authors is encouraged by assigning a poster session. Authors wishing to participate have to submit a summary of their research in no more than (80cm x 120cm) space.

Industry Applications Papers: The industrial societies are invited to present their applied researches in special sessions of the conference. The topics may be in all of industry applications.

Project Posters: Participation of senior engineering students is encouraged by assigning a poster session for them to exhibit their graduation projects. Students wishing to participate must submit a summary of their projects in no more than one-page size A4, indicating their names, the name of the project supervisor and their universities.

Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore

The IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference. Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference or periodicals at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously and the IEEE will take action against any author who has engaged in either practice. IEEE Web Page on Plagiarism:http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/plagiarism.html . IEEE Web Page on Double Submission:http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/Multi_Sub_Guidelines_Intro.html .

PLEASE NOTE: To be published in the Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference and must present the paper at the conference. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.

Paper Submission

Papers should be written and submitted according to the standard IEEE format. Templates for Microsoft Word can be found in the following link https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html. Only PDF files and Word documents will be accepted for the review process.Conference Template file can be downloaded from here.

It is the sole responsibility of each author to ensure paper submission at IEEE pdf eXpress link that will be provided later. Any paper that is not available at the pdf eXpress link cannot be accessible for publication. Publication takes between 2-4 months after IEEE pdf eXpress submission closes.

Submission Preparation Checklist

On making a submission to the conference, authors are required to check off the following items before submission

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • The manuscript is formatted by IEEE style. You could download the IEEE template from this link: ICEEM2023 Template
  • All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
  • All Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.

Review Policy

The paper review process is probably the most important part of developing a strong Technical Program. Submissions to IEEE ICEEM2023 conference shall undergo a review process by independent referees who are knowledgeable in the pertinent subject area.

Paper review

IEEE ICEEM2023 policy and professional ethics requires that referees treat the contents of papers under review as privileged information not to be disclosed to others before publication. It is expected that no one with access to a paper under review will make any inappropriate use of the special knowledge which that access provides. This applies to anyone else who is authorized to handle conference submissions.

The IEEE ICEEM2023 uses a “blind review” process where the authors are not revealed to the reviewers in order to allow concentration on content. The ICEEM2023 conference, the paper review process includes the following activities:

  • receipt of all papers;
  • logging of papers;
  • assignment of most logical reviewers;
  • simultaneous mailing to all identified reviewers;
  • review of the papers;
  • coordination of actual reviews and receipt of comments;
  • constantly updated reports to all reviewers on the status of papers in the review process including statements of acceptance or rejection by the reviewers;
  • close work on session plans to slot as many high-quality papers as possible in the conference;
  • notification to all authors of acceptance or rejection of papers.

The status reports to reviewers should identify the reviewers of each paper, its present status (accepted/rejected), and any comments regarding the paper's quality or referral to another reviewer.

Peer review process

The ICEEM2023 conference’s Technical Program Committee, recruited by the Technical Program Chair, collaborates to review and discuss submitted papers. Review occurs during a fixed window of time and all authors are notified of the decision on their paper at the same time. The Technical Program Chair is ultimately responsible for the selection of every accepted paper.

The ICEEM2023 conference uses single-blind  review. In single-blind, the names of the reviewers are not shared with the author but the reviewers are aware of the author’s identity. The anonymity of the reviewer ensures that the reviewer can give an honest and impartial evaluation of the paper. Most IEEE publications use the single-blind review format.
